BIO

 I am deeply interested in classical and ancient arts. I am also captivated and inspired by legends of mythology, and fascinated by descriptions of powerful gods and goddesses that are central to all myths. I am also profoundly amazed and enthralled by the human figure. I use my photography skills to capture images I want to work with, which are later transformed into drawings or paintings, or the images are reproduced as prints. In my work I try to portray the human figure at its best. I seek to create a look that is strong, radical and contemporary, and yet classic and formal.  Due to community restrictions, some of my images will not appear here on Tumblr. EXPERIENCE

Hobbyist for many years, starting from around 2003, originally shooting artworks at museums. From 2008 my work has been mostly in a studio environment with strobes. From 2008 to 2014, my work was with portraiture and fashion oriented images. From 2015 to 2020 I have been shooting nude figures. My photography work stopped when the pandemic came, and I subsequently gave up my rented studio space. Now I am going back into my archives to process all the images I have captured over the years. I also like drawing and painting so that is what I am doing now for the most part.
